With life being busy, don’t forget to take care of YOU!


Here are some ways to help support mental health:


-Self-Care: What do you love to do? Take a bath, read a book, go hiking, watch the sunset, take a long shower!

-Journaling: Journaling can be a great way to process your emotions!

-Affirmations: Try writing down 5 affirmations and repeating those 5 affirmations every day!

-Setting Boundaries: Set boundaries with whoever you need to keep mental peace.

-Nourishing foods: Eat whole foods & reduce processed foods! Balance your meals: protein, carb, & fat! Eat the rainbow!

-Saying no when needed: Don’t overbook yourself! When you can and if possible, say no to commitments that are causing unnecessary stress in your life.

-Protecting your peace: Set boundaries with toxic people, turn off the news, unfollow social media accounts that don’t bring you peace, don’t doom scroll etc.

-Deep Breathing: Belly breathe! Breathe like a baby! Focus on making your exhale longer than your inhale. That stimulates the vagus nerve bringing your body into a rest state! My favorite is inhale for 4 and exhale for 8!

-Talking to Someone: We all need someone to talk to! Find a trusted person you can talk to! Whether that’s your spouse, best friend, sister, or a therapist!

-Sunshine: Nature heals! Get first morning light if you can!

-Connection: Laugh, enjoy time with friends and family.

-Less electronics: Don’t miss the real connection in front of you.
