Balanced Lunches will give them the energy they need!
-Every child’s dietary needs are different so customize the lunch boxes according to their needs.
-Have your child help you shop for and prepare their lunches so they are excited to eat what’s in their lunch!
-Cut and prepare the food in the appropriate way and size for your child’s age. For example, it is generally recommended to cut grapes lengthwise for children up until age 5, where an older child wouldn’t need their grapes cut.
-There are many different flavors and brands of hummus. I like the @cava brand.-You can buy rotisserie chicken and shred them for quick lunches.
-For cheese cubes, you can get a block of cheese and cut into cubes.
-Always check the ingredients for nut butters. Many times they add in unnecessary sugar. You can find many nut butters that do not have sugar added to them.-My favorite ranch is from @primalkitchenfoods
-Look for high-quality bread and tortillas without unnecessary ingredients, or if you have the time, make your own bread and freeze it in slices. I like @sietefoods tortillas and Coyotos tortillas. For bread I like the @baseculture brand.
-For Jam, I like the @eatsmashfoods brand.
